The challenge
Schou had a desire to optimize their processes through digitalization, but also to reach more potential customers. They wanted to meet their customers' needs to be able to shop anytime, anywhere via e-commerce.
After many failed webshops, Schou Company had to accept that not just any webshop could meet their needs. Partly because these solutions were not geared to their volume, but also due to the integration with their two ERP systems (AX and NAV). Customer-specific prices and assortment management became too big a mouthful.
The solution: PIMcommerce
Schou chose to go with a PIMcommerce - an e-commerce solution with seamless integration to their PIM system.
The customers' individual prices and freight agreements have been taken into account when they log in and shop on schou.com.
All Schou's products on their new webshop are maintained and managed from Perfion. This has significantly simplified their internal processes. After only six weeks, Schou was able to launch their Danish webshop and other languages followed soon after.
