The traditional BKI called today BKI foods as the company today sells a broad range of products. BKI foods has selected a total solution from PicoPublish containing the Danish PIM system   Perfion that brings together all product information and delivers content to 15 websites and 5 webshops in different languages targeted to different markets. When PIM solution is scalable, new websites, web shops, several languages and other publishing channels are easily added as needed.

Fredericia Furniture

Fredericia Furniture started cooperation with PicoPublish in 2011. The first phase was to gather all product data in one place, which was in Perfion. Product data from Microsoft Dynamics NAV, was visualized in Perfion along with all other product data from Fredericia Furniture. Photos, video and market data accumulated in virtual structures so effective maintenance was secured.

Phase 2 was the automation of Fredericia Furniture's price lists to be auto generated in Danish, English and German. This goal was jointly secured Its task was extended as Fredericia Furniture saw an opportunity in the Japanese market. An auto generation of price lists in Japanese is thus also part of the solution today.

Merrild Lavazza

The coffee company Merrild Lavazza has only about 130 products in its range at present. However, the amount of product information is extremely extensive.

While each coffee type requires data on bean type, degree of roasting, grind, aroma, taste description, certifications, etc., there are even more data and documentation requirements when it comes to cocoa and powdered milk. At the same time, the numerous coffee machines each require their own individual set of product data.

Previously, Merrild Lavazza stored product data in brochures, PowerPoint presentations, PDF files and in the ERP system, and the many data sources made it difficult to find the latest updates. Many employees spent time gathering product information, but nobody had the full picture.

When Merrild Lavazza was planning a new website based on the PIM-Commerce and Dynamicweb platform, it was decided to take control of product information once and for all with a PIM system.
